French-Algerian rapper, queer, trans who immigrated to Canada 7 years ago. Started rapping at 11, is now 33.

 

Writing and music have always been at the center of my life and have helped me to achieve and face challenges.

Rap and creation in general have been a crutch for my mental health, especially when I was younger. I always had a great love for words, poetry and rhymes through which I was able to develop my thoughts and my understanding of the world, people and society around me.

 

My rap has always been affiliated with introspective, committed and underground rap. The one that makes you think rather than the one that entertains the masses. Its specificity is in the attention paid to the words chosen - the quality of the writing is at the heart of my practice.

 

I made a name for myself after participating in acapella battles, releasing albums, doing concerts, appearing in a film and achieving critical success among the public and my peers.
