SARA ROSE HÉBERT

Sara Rose Hébert (they/them) is a queer, neurodiverse singer-songwriter currently living on the territory of the Lekwungen people. They were born Franco-Ontarian and grew up in a bilingual community. In 2007, at the age of 16, Sara Rose began composing music and became involved in the music scene in Kitchener. They have been recording their compositions since 2011, with three albums available online.

In 2022, they reconnected with their Francophone roots through the Francophone community in Victoria. Following residencies with Pacifique en Chanson (2024) and Chant’Ouest (2025), Sara Rose is recording their first French-language album, exploring themes of nature, spirituality, healing, and the importance of community.
