That’s the promise of Zack Ingles’ latest project “Get Ahead.” From the rural valleys of New Brunswick comes the songwriter with a refreshing ability to explore complex and often taboo social conversations, packaging them in heart-pumping 4-on-the-floor bluegrass rhythms.

“Get Ahead” has been featured nationally on CBC Radio 1 and 3; with the song “Weathered Heart” earning more than 50,000 streams alone. The project explores the harsh and hilarious realities of living with mental illness, finding love in heated arguments, and the plight of the blue collar middle class.

Currently working his debut full-length album, Ingles is steadily carving out his place in the maritime scene and creating a community of catharsis for those who need to hear that they are not alone.
