Alexis Normand has established herself as a key figure in the Franco-Oustrian music scene, receiving critical acclaim. Winner of the Francophone Artist of the Year award at the Western Canadian Music Awards, she has also been nominated for the Canadian Folk Music Awards and the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan's Arts Awards.
In 2016, she put her solo career on hold to devote herself fully to Rosie & the Riveters. The group toured internationally, and their 2018 album, Ms. Behave, reached number three on the CBC Radio 2 Top 20 chart and was praised by prestigious publications such as Billboard Magazine and Rolling Stone.
Alexis returned to the solo stage in 2023 and distinguished herself by being recognized among the 10 influential figures of the Canadian Francophonie before the end of the year. She gave more than a hundred shows across Canada and France and received the Young Alumni Excellence Award from the University of Ottawa. Her work was also recognized with several nominations for the Trille Or Awards (2025) and the Saskatchewan Music Awards (2024 and 2025).
At the same time, Alexis is a project coordinator at the Société Chant'Ouest, an organization that supports the professional development of Francophone artist-entrepreneurs in Western and Northern Canada. Through mentoring, training, and export initiatives, she actively contributes to the growth of Francophone music in Western Canada.
