JACOB ROSE

​Jacob Rose is an Alberta-born, New Brunswick-based singer-songwriter whose “earthy soulful folk” sound bridges the rugged spirit of the prairies with Atlantic coastal charm. His music resonates with unforgettable melodies, raw folk essence, and themes of resilience, hope, and authentic human experience.

Rose’s career highlights include sharing stages with renowned Canadian artists such as Sam Roberts Band, Leeroy Stagger, Andrew Smith. His artistic journey began with his 2015 debut EP “Last Another Day” which featured “Marco Polo” – a track nominated for Best Folk Song at the 2016 YYC Music Awards

Rose’s latest single, “Hold Your Head Up” (April 2025), co-written with award-winning songwriter/producer Chris Kirby, features stellar drumming by Joshua Van Tassel (Bahamas, Rose Cousins) and was a finalist in the 2025 International Songwriters Day Song Competition. The powerful track explores steadfastness and enduring love through life’s challenges.
